Morning Guys,

I was playing with the live CD on my copy of ubuntu 6.06 last night, and
I couldn't seem to get my wifi connection working thanks to the network
admin property sheet only showing WEP as the network authentication
type.

Doing a quick Google search came back with saying that I should use the
Network Manager (Gnome) to connect to my wireless network. The great
thing is, that the blooming thing isn't installed when booting with the
live CD, thus it tries to connect to the internet to install it. But
hang on! I can't connect to the internet because I can't connect to my
WAP!!!

Anyone know if the live CD for 6.10 has this app installed by default?
Or any other means of getting WPA to show up in the network admin
property sheet? Oh and does the DVD version have a live bit on it? I
assume all of the packages are available to install from the DVD then.

Cheers guys
