Absolutely. This is a fascinating clash between "updating the software of ignorant consumers" and "taking control away from folks with line-of-business applications they depend on." Bundling all the patches as one was the last step; for years now, MS has been shipping patches with generic "This addresses an issue in Windows" and making it really hard to figure out which patches you want to use and which to skip. MS has some of the best software testing processes in the software world, but the increasing complexity of their environment is making it harder and harder to get it 100% right. -- Ted Roche Ted Roche & Associates, LLC http://www.tedroche.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/CACW6n4tTODpUhrKwjvZ=tofpr0hrwvy_pqalcxln1rpjefg...@mail.gmail.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
