Click on the Apple in the upper left hand corner. Select System Preferences. Click on Accounts. If the padlock in the lower left is closed, click on it and give the admin password when asked. Click on Login Options. Click the checkbox labeled "Automatically log in as:" and select your girlfriend's user account. I'd like to point out to all the XP-fanboys on the list that this is just as easy, if not easier than XP.
