It's not just speed, although I do think LMI's compression/diffing algorithms 
are way ahead of all the others. It's also the selection filtering and syncing 
capabilities. Most of the other solutions are no better than using File 
Explorer in an RDP environment and in some cases the early releases were so 
buggy with file transfer as to render them unusable for that purpose. The one 
flaw LMI still has is when transferring an existing file over a certain size, 
it fails to overwrite the target file and leaves it in a corrupted state. Of 
course, I want to replace that file anyway so I delete the file on the target 
and transfer it as if it were new.

I don't think it's how often I have a lot of files to transfer (size or 
quantity) but how much pain does it cause me when I do have to do that.

Hi Richard,

You must be dealing with large files transferring quickly.  My interactions 
have dealt with files NOT of great size, and very low frequency so it was 
adequate.

How often are you transferring files??
