Derek, that's nice! 

My main machine's setup is the bottom 2 only, and occasionally another
machine's monitor or laptop joins the mix, but I'd love to have more
screen real estate on the main machine. Can't get enough!

I hope you can find or make software to fix your problem with cursor
movement. Frankly, I'd just keep the main monitors taskbar at the bottom
of the screen, but we each have our preferences.

Another approach from decades ago was the IBM 3290 monitor, which was a
large monitor (for it's day) with a display split into 4 quadrants, each
could be on the same or different system. We loved it. The modern
equivalent, I suppose, would be the same approach but with a much larger
monitor. I think that would be better then 4 separate monitors.
