I use multiple monitors too.  One in the office and one at home.  I run
them at 2048x1536 and each one is about 4 "normal" screens and more if
you assume 800x600 as the norm.  They are 19" CRTs and I love the feel
of electrons flowing through my orbits and my nostrils.  21" or 24" CRTs
are way overpriced and take up too much room, not to mention time lost
for the trips to HerniaCity.  When LCDs are available at the resolution
I love, I will be sure to get one.  Until then I will just be the
monitor luddite of the group.
