I was too busy to know any of those people back when I was that age.
(Was I EVER that age? Ted, do you remember?)

I've heard that too. <s> Good thing it didn't happen to me.

Well, I wouldn't want to make Hal mad. He's ornery about that sort of
thing, going OT, you know. I try and respect my elders.

Back ON-T, though... 15 years ago, I had to lock myself in my room and
put headphones on to keep the noise of the little girls out so I could
concentrate on coding. That was back when FoxForum only had 17 sections. :)

Now, I can write code with the house full of kids. Have learned to tune
out the regular screams and only react when I hear the hollering that
indicates someone is bleeding. So, yes, kids have made me a better
developer. /snicker/

As far as folks changing.... only my wife changed. I haven't changed at
all, except for the better. And shorter. And fatter. And balder. And
slower-witted-er. All of which are good things when you're married to
some middle-aged housewife.

Seen on another list somewhere (did I post this here before?): "Right
now, my future trophy wife is struggling to get through fifth grade
geography."
