the speculators -- selling to each other, turning housing into a 
commodity.  They should be roasted on a spit...(one exception to my 
anti-death penalty stand  :-) )

Supply and Demand doesn't apply anymore when the sharks come to feed.

Arizona, by the by, at least in Phoenix and Tucson, had the bad luck to 
succumb to the same disease as California has.  Over the last 4 years or 
so their housing was bid up faster than California.  Since last summer, 
it's been coming back down some but it's still outrageous compared to 
where it should be and compared to the salaries paid in those areas.
