I believe only VFP Version 9 Will work with Vista. There also may be permission issues when installing VFP on Vista just like installing any other app on Vista as MS has taken on the slogan of "You asked for more security, so we will give you more security by not letting you install anything, therefore you have a less likely chance of crashing your computer and blaming it on us..." It is annoying, but there are ways around it, just like there are ways around everything if you look hard enough.
