Obviously all scientists agree that until very recently the climate on earth 
remained more or less constant and was never prone to dramatic temperature 
shifts on way or the other. This is face-value proof of the threat of man-made 
global warming, right Leland?

O, if only we'd signed on to Kyoto! Why, the oceans would calm, Mars would get 
its southern ice cap back, and we wouldn't have any more natural disasters! How 
could it be clearer?
