I have a procedure that connects to SQL Server. When I try to run the
procedure on a different machine or when the network is down, I warn the
user that the tables are not accessible right now and move on. VFP Help
says the ConnectTimeOut default is 15 seconds. That would be Ok except it
is actually taking 42 seconds. I tried setting SQLSETPROP(0,
'ConnectTimeOut', 15) and I still get 42 seconds. Is something else going
on?
