Yeah, we had those in school too. Here are some options for a kid who is
being threatened by a bully:

1. Defend yourself. Putting the bully on the ground will go a long way in
turning the bully into a responsible citizen.
2. Hang with a crowd and when threatened by the bully, reciprocate. A
similar response might occur as in previous item.
3. Run from adversity. This will not bode well for the kid or for the
general population.
4. Tell on the bully. 
5. Move....

I had a few people try to pick on me when I was a kid. Option number one or
two was almost always the best response. Of course, if the other kid is a
lot bigger, meaner, tougher, etc. Option two becomes mandatory!
