40 million copies of Vista given away as part of MSDN licenses, bulk
Microsoft Select licenses, and pre-installed on machines. I wonder how
many people went out and *bought* Vista.

Millions of people chose to download and install Ubuntu, Fedora and
other distros.

It's about choice.
