I'd have to create and compile a properly-instrumented little application that does the copying, install it on two machines, get somebody away from their ordinary tasks to help me... Probably cost half a day. That's a lot of time and effort for something that somebody here might have a simple answer for, don't you think? We're always being advised to avoid "re-inventing the wheel" and all... Thanks anyway.
