Competitive capitalism and monopoly are not at all the same thing. Sweden has elected a right of center government and is considering joining NATO, free enterprise capitalism is flourishing in Scandanavia think Nokia, Ericsson, Saab, Volvo, the Wallenbergs and many many more. In fact Estonia, Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, Norway and Finland are all in the top 30 Economic Freedom index published by the Economist. And of course you are right that developing economies have much more to lose with the collapse of the Doha round of free trade negotians than the USA does.
