Excellent quality, and a 36 month warranty. The failed unit was replaced with a new unit (although the failed unit being over 6 months old, no refurb), which I received within 4 days.
I have not even considered an Acer PC or laptop due to the problems I hear others have had. I have become (no rocks, please) a Dell Server user over the years, and have not had any issues with them. Price is low, and quality & performance are decent. I have also purchased HP Server for clients, as well as Dell. I have found HP to be decent to work with. My laptop is an HP ZE class notebook, several of my previous laptops were also HP, Sony & Compaq. My color Laser is an HP 3600n, over 17 months old, and runs great. All I know is I purchase Service Contracts for Servers and laptops, and get other products from manufacturers with 36 month warranties whenever I can. So far, so good. I am certain that is partly because I go with major manufacturers, and avoid 3rd party service contracts. I also keep careful purchase records, and contract copies. Nobody gets over on me <g>...
