Hi Guys, I have just got a Trixbox up and running and all is well. This is really the first time I have properly played with something Linux. Anyway, I am trying to install some APC software onto the box so that it talks to our UPS that it is connected to however I am having some problems installing.
After putting the CD into the drive you are supposed to run... /mnt/cdrom/Linux/pbe_agent_linux_jvm.bin However it says "no such file or directory", so I cd'd to the cdrom and ls'd, and no files where showing up. No matter, so I used a windows PC to copy the files onto the linux box. I dropped the files into the root user directory "/root" (I am logged in as root). So now I then went to run the install using... /root/pbe_agent_linux_jvm.bin This gave me the following error... -bash: /root/pbe_agent_linux_jvm.bin: Permission denied I am stuck as to how to install this package.
