John: I too am interested in archiving all of my email. We had a project in our user group a few years ago where we automated Outlook and saved all of our emails in dbfs and saved attachments to a folder. Recently I have been getting serious about revisiting it.
I am also thinking about saving it in something other then dbfs. Encrypted XML comes to mind. If and when I get it polished up, I will post it.
