What sense does that make?!? Are they saying that Vista is a downgrade from the old XP?<< Supply and demand. XP is lower in supply than Vista, and has more demand. Simple economic theory states when these conditions exist the price is likely to go up. This is Gateway Michael. Dell did not charge me a penny more for an XP Pro SP2 system. My choices on the type of system were limited though, and I could only purchase the machine as a business, not as a consumer (which I think is bad business).
