Bretta has a manufacturing plant here in the states.  You can do a 
google on Beretta USA.  I'm sure Beretta USA; although, a USA 
corporation is owned by the Beretta family whose root are in Italy.  The 
Beretta family has been making firearms for near 500 years now.
