I wouldn't argue with that at all. However, whatever country you live in, if
you want the benefits of operating their, you should take care of the neighbors
first. Because of our successful system everyone is targeting the US... what
do we do... we sell out and hire the outsiders.

Forgive me for the parochial, and mildly oversimplified, example of racing in
the US. It used to be that the Indy 500 was a big deal. Now it's almost just
another race as is the whole open wheel category. Attendance is down and
interest has waned because it's no longer guys from Tinley Park, IL or North
Tonawanda, NY, but foreign drivers in imported chassis. Who cares? However
NASCAR is the hottest ticket in the sport, because they are the local heroes
driving something that looks like a normal car. It's relationship!

Having said that, I loved watching Juan Pablo Montoya racing Michael Shumacher
when he had good enough equipment and I wish him the best of luck with the
stock cars, but I surely hope it is not the trend. The dominant political
thought of the left in this country is to hate America, it's infecting industry
and I certainly hope it doesn't destroy the sport where men and machines
compete.
