Another idea (untested):

1. Create a desktop shortcut to the dabo runtime.

2. Have users save their .py files on their desktop.

3. Users should be able to drag and drop a .py file on your dabo runtime
shortcut to run the file.

The above technique should work even on the most locked down of
workstations. No fuss - no muss.

Note: Users should be able to drop a .py file from any folder (if
Explorer is open) to their desktop dabo runtime shortcut. The only
challenge will be scripts that look for files local to the script's
folder. When the script is executed via drag and drop I believe the
script will execute in the context of the dabo runtime's folder - not
the script's folder?
