I have services to sell, ebooks, affiliate relationships, and now insurance
too. So there are a variety of things. Nothing is a penny, but then again I
don't get anything from clicks -- only from actual sales.

Plus, the insurance industry is heavily regulated so all my purchased leads
have full address/phone/etc. info so that I don't send to people that are
out of state. Additionally, even the TEXT in the email is regulated. My
license -- which has not yet arrived -- is only for the state of California.

Steve and I are starting an insurance agency, but of course the first order
of business is that both of us must be licensed. We figure that I'll still
be doing computer work for the agency, and he'll be doing education and
counseling. So we're not changing careers as much as going vertical with
them.

It seems to me that I'll do better this way than I have been doing
consulting for others full time. And by working with Steve I can pull him
through all these health issues he keeps having. Just yesterday he had a
basal cell carcinoma removed from his face. He spent the day with his head
wrapped up in a big gauze bandage. Today he's down to just a bandage next to
his left eye, though.
