I'm not certain, but I suspect most spammers use Windows as their primary OS. 99.9% of all hackers use Linux, that's true (hackers in the non-pejorative sense, that is). Virus creators? Since 99% of viruses are written to attack Windows, I'd think that they'd be using Windows to develop and test them, no? Every OS sucks, but if you were to seriously try them all out, I think you'd find that Windows sucks way more.
