Sytze, Sorry I misread your post and fired off the response about the Interactivechange() before I realised.
The Valid() will fire immediately before the lostfocus() so I can't see why you aren't seeing it. Have you populated any other methods and is there another control you set focus to after the combobox (tab order). If not then the valid() and lostfocus() events wont fire.
