It must be something I'm doing (wrong) I have a combobox ControlSource=Local variable (Blank char 15) Rowsource=Winsupps (standalone table of suppliers) It seems to me the WHEN method fires fine (I tried a Wait window nowait "Testing 123" But it seems the VALID method is not working
