Hi all

I swear that what follows is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but
the truth:

This evening I wanted to send a document with a screenshot and a few
lines of code copied to the clipboard from the VFP command window to a
colleague - just something quick and dirty - so

PrintScreen
Open Word
Paste - nice screen dump appears
Back to VFP - copy a few lines from the command window to the clipboard
Back to Word and paste them in
Save the document as MyDoc.DOC (default format)
Resulting file size 107KB - no problem

Oh, wait a minute, let me save that again as RTF

Resulting file size 9140 KB !!!

I've got the files (DOC and RTF) still and can send them to anybody who
(a) doesn't believe me OR (b) would just like to see for themselves OR
(c) would like to investigate just why there is this HUGE discrepancy

Maybe it's just that MS Word 2003 has a fantastically efficient and
compact DOC storage model ?
