The bloat appears to be in that part of the RTF that is storing the bitmap (no surprise there) - I can only surmise that perhaps, whilst both apps are storing the bitmap (info) internally, the Word created RTF has its internally stored bitmap (info) at a higher resolution/greater color depth ? I don't know but I'm pretty sure that would be somebody's excuse ! Maybe I'll try opening each RTF, copy the image to the clipboard and paste it into something like PaintShop ... but not tonight Paul Newton _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
