It is network connections. My best guess is either a router or a switch is the culprit in this mess. They are intermittent so the message traffic for email and web is no problem. Your code on the other hand needs that 100% up time. Quick fix is to rewrite the data access layer. That all. Bad Steve. I know that that would be a great deal of work but you still need to change it. All data needs to be pulled in a C/S sort of manner and inserted or updated from a LOCLA service running at the server and not at the workstation. It would probably be easier to switch out the data type, because that requires a rewrite. You know it and you go through with it. -- Stephen Russell Sr. Production Systems Programmer Mimeo.com Memphis TN 901.246-0159 --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- kept) text/html --- _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
