Hi John

Just a thought.

Have you installed Google Earth recently and left the box ticked for
also installing Google Toolbar and Google Desktop.

I have had five Clients with differing problems since the start of
December which I have cured by uninstalling Google Desktop and Toolbar.
The last was today with a Client who couldn't open certain email
attachments, notably ones with the .msg extension.

Cheers

Peter

Subject: Explorer Problems

Hi Guys,

I have just started having some problems with Windows Explorer. I know
many
of you prefer alternatives but I find it does what I need and is always
available on any other machine I work on. The problem I have is that as
soon as I select the File menu it throws an error saying it must shut
down.
Everything else works just fine. I've tried re-booting and googling for
explorer problems but there doesn't seem anything like this issue
amongst
the responses. I could restore a previous image but it will mean I will
have to re-install several new apps so I would like to avoid that if
possible. As far as I know I have not installed any updates recently -
I
have auto updates turned off.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

TIA

John Weller
