Hi Jean! Cars are abused by idiots (who have all had the training and possess the license of which you speak) hundreds of times per minute, with predictably lethal results. Guns are abused seldom enough that when they are abused it becomes international news. In each case, it is neither the car nor the gun but the idiot that is the problem. Liberals rarely or never call for idiot control, however.
