Google Enterprise Apps, $50/user/year. http://www.google.com/a/enterprise/ No hardware. No software. Platform neutral. Redundantly backed up. Much better search capabilities. Plus a bunch of other applications for no additional cost. My recommendation for best-in-class email is Fastmail's Enhanced plan (www.fastmail.fm). But fastmail is currently an email only service provider. Let us know what choice you finally make.
