Michael, Michael, Michael,

>> I guess I figured that although it may be huge, it's a "dead" language since
>> it's death nell has
been sounded by M$ saying "no more beyond vfp9" and that salt-in-the-wound DBI
comment for "last
version." :-(<<

I guess every message these days has to have a negative spin to it. Moaning and
groaning seems to be
the in thing for many in the Fox Community (I just hit the UT to read what the
Sedna and SP2
detractors and complainers had to whine). I am not sure what huge numbers of
VFP developers in
China, India and Eastern Europe have with it being a "dead" language. All I
know is there are a lot
of intelligent Chinese, Indian, and Europeans who see opportunity to raise
themselves above their
current economic conditions and are flourishing. I guess they must be crazy
like a fox. <bg>

For some reason many people see the glass as empty, but to some of us, we don't
have enough glasses
to fill all the water (read FoxPro business) that is coming our way. I need a
pool to hold all the
water from all the glasses people are emptying. In fact, I just got a call from
a former employer of
yours. I need two people to help support some FoxPro DOS app, you interested??
<g>
