lol....well, I need to get off the cotton pony...guess I've been a bitch
recently for some reason or another. lol!

I didn't know PWG had a FoxPro DOS app! No, I don't do DOS. Sorry!
Actually, I've been getting calls/emails, like the few I forwarded here
within the past month! I think the reason I was "pissy" was that all the
shitty press you read anymore...like DBI's bullshit line about "the last
release ever" or some crap like that. Don't get me wrong.....I'm not
really the "woe is me" on this....I love VFP and was even commenting
today to a coworker that it's so great working in a language where you
can so easily work with data (...in my case, VFP7 free tables). I had to
do something tedious but with the easy way VFP allows you to work with
data, I didn't go insane.

Fox rocks, and my future for the next 2 years is most likely still VFP,
and our product really is cool too at Sylvan, in addition to the
products I've made at MBSS for the past 5 years (and still do on the
side yet). I'm just pissy about all the bad press. Sorry....I see now
that I wasn't helping but instead contributing to the
whiners/moaners/bitches who see the wrong side of the glass. Yes, the
glass is STILL have full, and yes Virginia, there IS a Santa Claus. ;-)

I love to see your efforts with VFPx as well as eTechnologia and the
Guinea project.....there's still tons of life left in this old Fox. It's
just that the f*cking corporate world left the Fox for dead long ago,
and comments like Bernhard Bout's today about "This was written by a
novice or someone who just doesn’t care. I think the latter is more
probable." You know what I'm talking about. You hang out with
whiners/complainers (and mind you, I'm not saying that he's not
justified in his position) and you start to feel the same. The old
saying: "you're known by the company you keep." I need to hang around
more "half-full" folks.

Thanks for the kick in the pants, Rick!

;-)
