Huckabee would have certainly shown up in any state by state poling done, and he would have shown up in the amount of contributions he was receiving. Anyway, there probably isn't a perfect primary system, but any primary system that disenfranchises any class of voters is the greatest sin that can be committed by a Democracy and provide plenty enough reason to check if the system could be improved to address some of these well know problems of the current system.
