Hi Everybody! Human nutrition is more politicized than the Iraq war, sad to say. Unfortunately, we all need nutrition, politics, profits or otherwise.
Minerals are necessary in human nutrition, even more so than vitamins. Unfortunately, the soil is depleted of minerals nearly everwhere crops are grown. The crops are fertilized, but only to promote yield and appearance which add profit, not nutritional content which is an expense. As corn production increases to provide biofuel, human nutrition will get much worse than it already is. I haven't tried this, but David Mellor, an agricultural scientist, sent me this link months ago. http://100434010.youngevityonline.com They have a plant-derived mineral supplement with 77 minerals, sixteen more than a list I was able to compile. David writes: "You can buy it for the same price I buy it for which is $18.00 for a 30 day supply. It is called Majestic Earth Plant Derived Minerals". You have do dig in their menu system to find it. Product Category: Longevity Liquid Nutrition. Copy/paste: Item #: 13203 PLANT DERIVED MINERALS 32 OZ The colloidal mineral supplement which all others compare. A liquid concentrate of 19,000 mg of approximately 77 minerals from prehistoric plants. Supplement Facts Your Price: $25.71 I haven't gotten around to getting any, but the pdf file ("Supplement Facts") on the analysis looked interesting. If anyone wants to beat me to this, good luck with it. If it is as good as represented let me know. -- Regards, Pete http://www.pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
