This is getting into [OT] territory, but to answer your question, for store
purchased natural and organic foods the real value of those adjectives are
indeed watered down.  But for the local farmers I deal with out here it is
very much taken seriously and they are proud of their food offerings.  The
natural beef is not able to be put forth as organic because there is a
vaccine administered to newly born calves as required by law.  Other than
that they are raised on an organically run farm, grass fed on an open range,
no bio or hybrid foods, etc.  So, for me going directly to the farms I
purchase from, yes, it means a something.
