There's something I omitted. The poor guy is quite ill. Since returning to Brazil half his face is paralysed. Some kind of stroke or infection it seems. He's only a young guy, I think it's down to stress. Divorce, losing his house and possessions, spending all his savings to leave to the country and having to employ immigration lawyers has taken its toll. I'm surprised he wants to return.
