That would have been "ever so much fun," too.

Logan holds a special place in heart: 20 years ago -- oh, no, it was
*30* years ago <sigh> -- my boss was trying to persuade me to move to
Boston. After learning first-hand that Boston drivers are the worst
in the USA, I was glad to be on my way to Logan. I was in my rental
car approaching the group of one-lane tunnels to the island. I was
going about 70 mph. Lots of traffic, not exactly bumper-to-bumper,
but close to it. About 30 feet from the huge concrete abutments
defining the entrance to the tunnels, I spotted another car
approaching me from the rear at a _much_ higher speed. "Where the
Hell is he going to go?" I soon found out: he passed me like I was
standing still, deftly ducking between me and the concrete. I swear,
he missed hitting me by 3 inches at best. I am not exaggerating. I
had to tuck into the loo at the rental car lot for a quick change of
knickers.

A fine bye-bye to Boston for me.

Ken
