Ed's response about the business model and treatment of customers is a huge part of it, but it also has to do with how the customers treat each other on the forum too. Nasty flame wars break out all over on numerous forums, but in my opinion, the people on the UT have a true hatred for each other, and the vocal minority seem to make it miserable on a regular basis. At least here on ProFox, while we may have differing opinions and heated discussions, at the end of the day we are still friends for the most part.
