FWIW, the only way I've ever been able to deal with this is to uninstall 
the Palm software, promote the domain user to Administrator on the local 
machine, install the software under the user's account, and then demote the 
user.

Even if you do this, if you log in under another Administrator account, you 
won't be able to get into those Palm files.
