It wasn't cleaned really before I moved it, but it wasn't a sty either.
It was "acceptable." I will say that the kitchen floor had a great
shine and I didn't restore that before I left.

The only issues they could have would be that I had a couple MARKS---not
HOLES, but MARKS---on the entry walls when I tried to move in my leather
couch. I couldn't get it in past the entry door so I taking it down to
church and donating it! I know the landlord's bitchy girlfriend was
having a cow about it but I told her that it just needed a little touch
up paint. I told her I bought the paint and would take care of it
before I left. She then told me that I was NOT allowed to paint any
walls, but if I left the paint there, they'd refund my deposit. So I
left 2 gallons of paint (way more than it needed), a rolling pan, and a
paint roller.

To illustrate how cheap and illegal these bastards were---they'd turn
off my heat--turning it down to 58 except one occasion where they
completely turned it off from the boiler room--after I left on Sunday to
go back to Baltimore to work for the week. They'd not turn it back on
either, so I'd get back on Friday night to a freakin' ice box. And I
was paying rent!!!! No way in hell was that legal for those bastards to
adjust my thermostat. The one time I didn't get there until Saturday,
and I was so pissed that I jacked the thermostat up to 80. I then took
my son to the 2pm movie matinee in town, and the son-of-a-bitch came
over, noticing my car wasn't there--and put my thermostat back to 58.
MF!!!! I was furious. I'm actually looking forward to suing this
f*cker. I'm going to ask for my $575 deposit, plus the filing fee plus
fees for me having to come back and file the suit---gas, labor cost
lost, etc. I probably won't get anything beyond $575, but nonetheless
I'll add it to the complaint.

Do you make much off your properties?
