If you just send a bunch of flotsam without trimming, you're telling your
recipient that you don't value *their* cranial exertions enough to filter
out what you want to say. You are making them filter you instead of doing it
yourself. You're making yourself appear inconsiderate, IOW.

Habits like that just add to the endless pile of useless bits being
transmitted over the internet each day.
