Simple File Sharing is not protected. Windows doesn't enforce user 
permissions in that mode. When Simple File Sharing is NOT used, Windows 
provides a number of menus with which you define who is allowed into the 
shared folder and under what conditions. It is all very complex and I don't 
understand all of it.
