It takes a lot to get me to behave any less than professional in public. I've only yelled at a few people in 20 years of business. It doesn't take much for me to rip people on a message board, however. To not be able to understand the difference is silly.
I've never even met these people in person, and I've only talked them on the phone a few times. It all came down to a misinterpreted line in an email. When the owner of the company heard my side of the story as well as my customer complaining, she overruled the original person.
