I have to agree with you,  I'd love to have one, but not on a road full of 
nutcases.  I have a friend whose wife is an ER nurse.  She made him agree not 
to ride the bike when she was working.  

As far as the riders being aholes... that's part of it too.  I've been cruising 
at 75-80 and some kid on a crotchrocket goes flying by.   That's the kind that 
end up as grease spots on the road.  A guy I used to work with came into abrupt 
contact at 70-80 with a stopped 18 wheeler.  Alcohol had something do with that 
one too, so some of the problems here are self inflicted.  They give you a test 
for your license, unfortunately it's not an intelligence test.  Keep in mind 
that the most common last words of a redneck are "Hey everybody, watch this!"
