Except if it were that easy, we wouldn't be seeing so many complaints 
and requests for recommendations for antivirus products, would we?

I'm not advocating changing your entire infrastructure, but gradually 
moving to a more stable platform.

Windows simply hasn't proven itself as a stable, reliable platform yet. 
Linux has.

I never got my Windows systems infected either. My main client has been 
running Windows NT, 2K, and XP for over 10 years now with very few viruses.
