If the train is a nice ride, just about anyone going to LV from the LA area would ride it. Most of us don't like the heavy, unpredictable traffic going towards Vegas. I know plenty of folks that would spring for a train ticket -- especially with gas heading swiftly towards $5/gal in California. Not everyone wants to put up with the crap in airports just to go to Vegas.
