Admit it: It could just as soon have been an article about Bill Clinton.... :) Anyway. I agree McCain is a slug. McCain isn't just a womanizer; he's also a political whore, a man who has more than played the harlot with the DC press corps, betrayed his Republican "friends" with a kiss on more occasions than any of us care to remember in the name of "bipartisanship" -- and is about to feel a bit _used_ by his "good friends" in the press and the other party, as they savage him with stuff like this so The Messiah doesn't have to dirty his campaign fingers with such "negative ads". (Incidentally: Did you ever notice that McCain uses the word "friends" the way a prostitute might use the word "lovers"... as if she had lots of them, and love had anything to do with it!) Once their darling, the guy folks like Ed would otherwise have praised because of his "moderate" views and hard-wired impulse to work with Democrats at the expense of Republicans--the Anti-Bush, as it were--he is now going to be their poster child for all things Evil Right-Wing Republican (which is actually pretty ironic) if not the very likeness of Dubya, crawling out of his political sepulcher like some kind of vampire.
