The sad part is that seemingly rational people are going to vote for Hussein. Santayana was right.

I just provided concrete evidence that the *majority party in Congress* seriously intends to nationalize oil refineries in this country, and you act like nothing happened and the idea is just one of those silly things that politicians say. That's what's, on some abstract level, scary--when you factor in the likelihood that they'll have a president next year who's totally on board with such backward "failed policies of the past" borrowed from the early 1900's. (So much for new ideas.) I am not full of fear; just sad. It's like watching a train wreck in slow motion. I guess a healthier reaction would be to just get the popcorn out and find amusement in it all. I try it from time to time but I care too much, I guess, to be such a sideline observer of a tragedy. - Bob > > Regards, > > LelandJ > > Bob Calco wrote: > > http://www.foxnews.com/urgent_queue/index.html#a54ef44,2008-06-18 > > > > - - - > > Among other things, the Democrats called for the government to own > > refineries so it could better control the flow of the oil supply. > > - - - [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
